Daily Ads Under Scrutiny Over Recruitment-Based MLM Model
By DefendMe Team · · Hot News
Daily Ads, an online platform offering advertising credits and digital marketing tools, has come under scrutiny over the structure of its multi-level marketing compensation model. According to an analysis published by BehindMLM on September 23, 2026, Daily Ads operates through monthly membership tiers and pays commissions linked to the recruitment of other fee-paying participants. BehindMLM concluded that the structure represents an MLM pyramid scheme because, according to its analysis, commissions are tied entirely to recruitment rather than genuine retail sales to outside customers. What is Daily Ads? Daily Ads presents itself as a SaaS platform providing advertising credits and digital marketing tools. Its website states that the platform is operated by 9538-2396 Québec Inc., a Canadian company registered to Stephanie Jarry and Sebastien Bonneau. However, BehindMLM reports that Daily Ads does not publicly identify its ownership or executives on its website. The Daily Ads domain was privately registered in September 2025. Participants can join the platform for free or purchase monthly membership tiers. According to the information reviewed by BehindMLM, the paid memberships include Bronze at $11 per month, Silver at $40 per month and Gold at $72 per month. How does the compensation model work? The central concern relates to the way commissions are generated. According to BehindMLM, Daily Ads pays a $5 commission when a participant recruits another fee-paying member. Additional residual commissions are paid through matrix structures. Bronze members participate in a 2×5 matrix, while Silver members participate in a 3×7 matrix. Participants placed into these matrices are directly or indirectly recruited Daily Ads members. Importantly, the commissions are linked to continuing monthly membership payments. In other words, commissions continue to be generated only while recruited participants remain in the system and continue paying their monthly fees. BehindMLM therefore concluded that the MLM side of Daily Ads is based entirely on recruitment. What about the advertising credits and digital marketing tools? Daily Ads provides members with advertising credits and access to digital marketing tools. The existence of a product or service, however, does not by itself establish that an MLM structure is based on genuine retail activity. The relevant question is whether there is meaningful demand for those products or services from customers who are not participating in the income opportunity. According to BehindMLM's analysis, Daily Ads has no retail products or services available independently of promoter membership. Participants are effectively marketing the Daily Ads membership itself. This distinction is particularly important when assessing MLM opportunities. Where revenue and commissions depend primarily on membership payments made by recruited participants rather than sales to genuine outside customers, the sustainability of the model becomes dependent on continued recruitment. Why has Stripe also been mentioned? Daily Ads states on its website that payments are processed through Stripe. BehindMLM highlighted this as another issue because Stripe lists certain multi-level marketing services involving commission or recruitment-based sales among businesses subject to restrictions or prohibitions under its policies. There is currently no indication in the reviewed material that Stripe has taken action against Daily Ads. Nevertheless, reliance on a third-party payment processor can create an additional operational risk if the processor later determines that a business model does not comply with its terms. Why does this matter for participants? Recruitment-dependent models can continue operating while sufficient numbers of new participants enter the system and existing members continue paying their fees. The problem arises when recruitment slows. If participants at the lower levels stop joining or discontinue their monthly payments, the commissions flowing to participants above them can also decline. This is why the source of revenue is one of the most important questions investors should examine before participating in any MLM or online income opportunity. A platform may offer advertising tools, software, credits or other services, but potential participants should still determine whether those services are genuinely being purchased by independent customers or whether most of the money entering the system comes from people paying for the opportunity to earn by recruiting others. Where participation has already resulted in financial loss, users should preserve payment records, membership agreements, promotional materials, communications with recruiters and records showing how the income opportunity was presented to them.
