OxusTech Raises Concerns Over Crypto Gambling Arbitrage and High Daily Returns

By DefendMe Team · · Hot News

OxusTech, a crypto investment platform offering daily passive returns of up to 0.75%, has come under scrutiny over its business model, source of investment returns and multi-level marketing structure. A recent BehindMLM review has questioned whether the platform's claimed external revenue is sufficient to support the returns being offered to investors. According to a review published by BehindMLM on September 11, 2026, OxusTech offers investors passive daily returns ranging from approximately 0.45% to 0.75%, depending on the amount invested. Investments are reportedly made primarily in USDT, with the minimum investment starting at 50 USDT. At the same time, the platform operates a multi-level referral system through which participants can receive additional commissions and bonuses for introducing new investors and generating investment volume within their network. Where does OxusTech say the money comes from? One of the most important questions surrounding any platform offering fixed or unusually high passive returns is how those returns are actually generated. According to BehindMLM, OxusTech claims to generate external revenue through cryptocurrency gambling and prediction-market arbitrage, including activity involving Polymarket. The review, however, states that it was unable to identify independently verifiable evidence showing that these activities generate sufficient revenue to fund the returns offered to investors. This distinction is important. If investment returns are genuinely generated through external trading or arbitrage activity, there should ordinarily be some basis for independently verifying that activity. Where such evidence is unavailable and substantial amounts of new investor money continue entering the system, questions naturally arise regarding the actual source of payments made to existing participants. The MLM structure adds another layer OxusTech does not rely only on passive investment returns. According to the review, participants can also receive commissions for recruiting new investors, together with additional bonuses linked to the size and activity of their investment network. BehindMLM states that it identified no retail products or services being offered independently of participation in the investment opportunity. This means that both investment activity and recruitment appear to play a central role in the platform's business model. What do we know about the company behind OxusTech? Questions have also been raised regarding the platform's ownership and management. OxusTech refers to OxusTech Pty Ltd, an Australian-registered company, as part of its corporate structure. However, registration of a company does not by itself establish that its investment activities are licensed or supervised by a financial regulator. BehindMLM also raised concerns regarding the individuals presented as members of OxusTech's management and the previous involvement of certain promoters with other high-risk crypto and MLM investment opportunities. For investors, the relevant question is therefore not simply whether a company exists on a corporate register, but whether the entity accepting investments is properly authorised to provide the financial services it claims to offer. Is OxusTech officially confirmed to be a Ponzi scheme? The BehindMLM review characterises OxusTech as a Ponzi-type investment scheme, primarily because of the high passive returns, recruitment-based compensation structure and the absence of independently verifiable evidence of sufficient external revenue. That assessment should, however, be distinguished from an official finding by a court or financial regulator. At this stage, the available information discussed in the review raises significant questions about how investor returns are funded, but those concerns should not be presented as a final judicial or regulatory determination. Why should investors pay attention? Platforms offering high daily returns can continue operating for some time before withdrawal problems or other difficulties become publicly visible. For that reason, investors should not wait for a platform to collapse before preserving evidence. Anyone who has invested through OxusTech should retain transaction records, cryptocurrency wallet addresses and transaction hashes, account statements and screenshots, withdrawal requests, referral information, communications with promoters and any promotional materials used to encourage the investment. Such information can become important if regulatory, criminal or recovery proceedings arise later. As with many previous crypto investment schemes, identifying where the money was transferred and who was involved in promoting and receiving investor funds may ultimately be more important than the balance displayed on the platform itself.
