1. About DefendMe Global
DefendME Global Consulting LLC ("DefendMe") is a technology platform company incorporated in the State of Wyoming, United States (EIN: 61-2326199). Any commission or legal fee charged in connection with legal representation is charged solely by the appointed law firm, not by DefendMe.

4. Engagement Process and Client Responsibilities
4.1 Intake and Case Acceptance
Submission of an inquiry, intake form, or initial consultation does not constitute the creation of an attorney-client relationship or a service contract. A formal engagement commences only upon: (a) your execution of a specific service agreement or engagement letter, and (b) DefendMe's written acceptance of your case.
DefendMe reserves the right to decline any inquiry or case without providing reasons, including where we determine that the case falls outside our competency, has insufficient merit, presents a conflict of interest, or would require us to act contrary to applicable law or professional regulations.

You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information about your case, loss, and circumstances.
- Promptly respond to requests for additional information, documents, or clarifications from our team.
- Refrain from simultaneously engaging other legal representatives for the same matter without notifying us in writing.

| Service | Fee Model |

5.2 Platform Administration Fees
All fees charged through the DefendMe platform are platform administration fees covering technology services, AI processing, case management, document handling, professional review, and platform access. This applies to all products and services including case registrations, reports, verifications, complaint preparation, and consultations. The applicable fee for each product and tier is displayed on the DefendMe platform at the time of purchase and may vary by product, tier, and case. All platform fees are DefendME Global Consulting LLC's own revenue.
Platform administration fees are non-refundable once processing has commenced. Specific refund terms are set out in Section 5.5 of these Terms.
5.3 Legal Representation and Success Commission
DefendMe does not charge for legal representation. Where legal representation is provided (primarily in class action proceedings) it is covered exclusively by a success-based commission charged directly by the appointed law firm upon recovery of assets. This commission is governed solely by the Legal Services Agreement signed directly between you and the law firm. It does not flow through the DefendMe platform and is entirely separate from any platform administration fee you pay to DefendME Global Consulting LLC.
DefendME Global Consulting LLC does not collect, handle, or take any portion of the success commission. The commission is collected directly by the law firm and is subject to the terms of your Legal Services Agreement with them.
5.4 Payment Terms
- All fees are quoted and payable in the currency specified in your engagement agreement (USD unless otherwise stated).
- Payments are processed by our third-party payment processors. By providing payment details, you authorize us to charge the agreed fees.
- All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which you are responsible for paying.
- We do not store full payment card details; these are handled securely by our payment processor.
5.5 Refund Policy
Due to the nature of legal and professional services:
- Consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has taken place.
- Fixed-fee services are non-refundable once substantial work has commenced.
- For phased services, you may request a refund of fees paid for phases not yet commenced, subject to a reasonable administration fee.
- Legal services provided by the law firm under a separate engagement agreement, including contingency arrangements, are governed by that agreement; DefendMe has no role in and accepts no liability for those fee arrangements.
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing to billing@defendmeworldwide.com within 14 days of the triggering event.
